It's a great opportunity for me to work in the collaborative environment because sometimes I get challenged during the iDevelop time. Especially the reading and writing time I wonder how do I implement reading and writing in a collaborative way. I always ask myself how do I practice the inclusive learning in our habitat.
As I work in the innovative learning environment, it gave an opportunity for me to observe other learning coaches, their style of teaching and learning. We got the privilege to share our experience with each other and find different strategies to try with the learners. We always share our resources, introduce new books to gain knowledge and share our experience with other learning coach and get advice from other learning coaches because each one carries their own strength.
I always struggled with the slow learners in reading and writing. I watched Tanja style of teaching and I learned how to introduce and develop the reading and writing skills in the learners. She shared different resources with me so that I could practice with my learners. I observed Elaine and I learned an another style of teaching and learning. It was a good strategy for the slow learners, so I am going to introduce with our learners.
Reading about co-teaching helped me to get better understand about working along with other learning coaches.
