Provocations helps to Stimulating someone's interest, curiosity Open ended questions Developing curiosity Spark someone's interest Making curious about something Explain why you think Provocations is good for all Play is where friendships are born Encouraged to plan and build relationships Develop social skills, language, confidence Play and provocations go hand in hand What is our environment tells the learners? To play, not afraid of investigating in our environment How to design a provocations? Two ways to classify provocations Observational provocations-watch a caterpillar grow into a butterfly Sensory provocations- smelling the flower or spices Discovery provocation-go around with a magnifying to find interesting things Reflection After i heard Di talking about provocations, it encouraged me to think about how i could set up the environment which will stimulate the learners curiosity and invite the learners to play. I was thinking of setting up the environment which i want the learners to progress in certain areas. For example if we are talking about garden, what kind of plants we could plant, what are the seasons are good for the plants to grow. Next thing I want to set up activities based on the plants by providing some seeds for them to explore. When i give some provocations about seeds or plants will give opportunity for the learners to explore, think and ask questions regarding that. So it will be a great opportunity for me to ask some open ended questions, what do the learners already know about it and where do we go next.

WE want to give an experience for the learners to find out where do the wheat flour come from?
